Comfortable hotel, I greatly enjoyed exceptional breakfast!

Was a comfortable place for trip. Everything was great, good service, convenient location adjacent to the Forbidden City, a fancy taxi to go to the airport and the Shangri-La. Comforts of a double room were fabulous - central heating, a safe, and multi-channel TV.

The staff is caring here, the services are excellent, and location is prime close to the Forbidden City and the centre. The breakfast has above average and comprehensive options with more European offerings, many other hot dishes...

The breakfast offered lots of options and was comprehensive. The location was peaceful, close to the metro station, the venue overlooked garden.

European hotel in a secure area of Beijing. New-fashioned, huge rooms provided with extra big bed as well as humidifier. Breakfast with many other hot dishes and more European offerings. Really nice stay because of a private event at this venue over the weekend, nothing to complain about.

tbh, had a very nice stay on a business trip. the a double room was great-sized and beautifully maintained with extra big bed, humidifier.

The prices in the bar could be clearer, as they don't include tax or service charges and can feel sneaky.

The atmosphere and the hall make the hotel appear very high class. It seems well suited for conferences and group meetings offering nice surroundings.The fitness section was well equipped !

The lack of ability to provide taxi in the morning.The place of the hotel is an area with few (no) decent Chinese restaurants within walking distance (which is not the hotel to blame)

Spacious room, good cleaning. Liked the gym. Pool could be bigger. Hotpot and Peking Duck nearby. Grab DiDi to city RMB50 per ride.

The hotel is conveniently located near major tourist attractions, such as the Summer Palace and Beijing University. Guests can easily explore these interesting sights during their stay. Additionally, there are some decent restaurants in the area for dining options.

The hotel is not close to an underground station, which may make transportation a bit more challenging for guests.

the staff at shangri-la beijing were outstanding, exceeding our expectations with their service, care, and friendliness. the access to the executive lounge and the lovely pool made our stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect for our work at the exhibition center, despite the distance to downtown beijing.

Breakfast staff forgot to ask if i wanted coffee or tea.

As young holiday goers, we loved the great facilities and nice gym at this hotel. The rooms were excellent and spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, as it was close to a park and canal, which made for a lovely walk or run. We even found it convenient to run to the nearby Summer Palace along the canal, which was about 5K away.

We felt so comfortable during our stay that we have no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is located in a decent area, close to a garden and near the metro. However, it was inconvenient during the recent power shutdown in California. , it was not as close to many tourist spots as advertised. The room was spacious, but the bathroom and amenities were outdated. The breakfast buffet was expensive and lacked variety. The staff was friendly and helpful, except for one incident where an in-house guest was charged for just having coffee.
